Description
The kitchen garden wall, located to the south and west side of The Manor House, dates from the 18th and 19th centuries. It is constructed from rubble flint, brick, and dressed stone blocks, featuring brick dressings, a tile coping, and a brick plinth for timber fencing. The wall surrounds an irregular rectangular garden that measures approximately 75 meters by 50 meters, extending to the south and west of the house, with a timber fence along the road. The garden wall stands 3 meters high in most sections, reducing to 1 meter high above the road. The northern section includes 19th-century pointed brick arches. The coping consists of two courses of tiles topped with a ridge tile. To the west of the house, there is a low brick wall with timber railings and dog-rails.
