Description

This is a war memorial located 15 meters north of The Row in Avington, dating from the early 20th century. It is made of brown Guildford Sandstone and features an octagonal base with three steps leading up to an octagonal plinth at the center, which has inscriptions on its faces. Atop the plinth is an octagonal lozenge section cross that is designed in a stylized Early English style.
