Description

The Cottage is an early 19th-century brick cottage with a roof of old plain tiles, located in Itchen Valley, Avington. It is a one-and-a-half storey, two-bay building. The front features a top-glazed, planked door in a segmental head on the left side, and two 19th-century three-light casement windows with segmental heads to the left. Two 19th-century gabled dormers with bargeboards are present. The roof is half-hipped to the left, with a stack at the left end. A projection extends to the rear of the building.
