Description
Ramblers is a cottage dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. It features a timber frame encased in colourwashed brick and has a thatched roof. The cottage is 1½ storeys high and consists of three bays, with an outshot bay added to the right end in the 18th century. In front of the main posts, there is a series of brick piers and a raised band built in front of the wallplate. The central bay has a 19th-century planked door with a latticed timber porch. The windows include 1 and 2-light steel casements, with two of these located in dormers on either side of the door. The roof is hipped and sweeps down to the right, and there is a stack at the right end of the ridge.
