Description
This is a late 17th or early 18th century building of two storeys and six windows, located at 2 and 4 St Peter’s Road. The second and fourth windows on the first floor, positioned over the doorways, are blocked. It has a moderately pitched, tiled roof with a half-hip on the left side. The front is constructed of red brick with a decorative pattern using blue headers. A brick band, located at the cills of the two outer first-floor windows on each side, dips to first-floor level in the two centre bays. On the first floor, there are three early 19th century casement windows set in near-flush box frames, and one sliding sash window on the right. The ground floor has two late 19th century two-light sash windows in Number 2, and two sliding sashes in Number 4. Both properties have plain plank doors within wooden frames. Some of the brickwork has been renewed. Numbers 2 and 4, together with Number 2A, form a group.
