Description

The Dial House is a late 18th-century, two-storey building situated on St Peter’s Street. It is constructed primarily of vitreous brick with red dressings, and has a hipped slate roof. The front elevation features three windows with four panes per sash on the first floor, and one similar window on the ground floor. A six-panel central door is set within a reeded architrave, sheltered by a flat moulded hood supported on cut brackets. A later angular bay extends to the right of the main doorway. The south front presents a two-storey, half-octagonal bay on the right-hand side.
