Description
Bridge Close Dial Close School is an early 20th-century building that combines Edwardian and slightly medieval styles, possibly inspired by an earlier 18th-century house. It stands three storeys tall and features five windows. The first two floors are constructed of red brick with grey headers, while the second floor, which juts out on brackets, is finished in stucco and has five gables. Each gable has projecting casements, and there is an old tile roof behind the left three gables, which make up part of No 91. The lower part of the facade is characterized by projecting bay windows, with three on the ground floor and five on the first floor. All windows are large casement types, and there are two doors set in plain doorways. This building, along with Nos 83 to 87 (odd), The George and Dragon Hotel, Nos 91 and 93, and the gateway and sundial at the Dial House on St Peters Street, forms an important group.
