Description

No. 19 The Square is a 17th-century building that stands two storeys tall and features six windows. It has a very high-pitched tiled roof with a projecting chimney stack at the south end and deep eaves. The front is plastered, and there are old casement windows on the first floor, which have been modernised. The ground floor has an early 20th-century shop front. At the rear, there is a gabled extension that includes a ground floor window in a Gothic style from around 1800, characterized by interlacing glazing bars and a hoodmould. Nos. 18 to 20, which are adjacent, form a group with this building.
