Description
The Market Inn is an 18th-century building that was altered in the early 19th century. It has two storeys and features two windows. The roof is tiled and has been lowered in height. The front is plastered and includes a diagonal brick cornice. The left side has plain sash windows set in moulded frames. On the right side, there is a continuous bow window that spans two floors, with three sash windows on each floor, the upper ones having glazing bars. There are two half-glazed doors, one of which has a patterned rectangular fanlight, both framed by reeded architraves with decorative paterae at the corners, and topped with bracketed hoods. Nos 18 to 20 form a group.
