Description

THE SPAIN 1. 1501 (North Side) No 1 SU 7423 3/22 II GV 2. Early C19 cottage of 2 storeys, 2 windows. Hipped, slate roof of moderately low pitch. Stuccoed front. Replaced sash windows in flush moulded frames, except for canted oriel bay with dentil cornice on ground floor right. Door of two glazed, 2 fielded and 2 beaded panels, with cornice head and rectangular fanlight, in panelled reveal. Reeded architrave with paterae at angles. Cornice hood on curved brackets. NMR. Forms a group with No 17 Sheep Street.
