Description

These are two cottages located on Sheep Street, dating from the late 18th or early 19th century. They have a hipped roof covered with slate tiles of a moderately low pitch. The front of the cottages is plastered. The two-storey building has three windows. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars; those in number 14 have been replaced. They are set in flush, box frames. The doors are six-panel doors, with the upper four panels glazed, featuring a cornice hood, a plain fanlight, and a reeded architrave. These cottages are part of a group which includes numbers 2 to 26 (even) Sheep Street, numbers 24 and 25 The Square, and numbers 2A, 2, and 4 The Spain.
