Description
10 and 12 Sheep Street are two 18th century cottages, each two stories tall with one window. They feature a fairly steeply pitched tiled roof with one hipped dormer that has a leaded casement. The front is lime washed brick, with leaded casement windows on the first floor and oriel bow windows on the ground floor. There is a projecting hood over the doors and windows, and above this are two wide relieving arches with keystones, one of which at No 10 is dated 1789. These cottages are part of a group that includes Nos 2 to 26 (even) Sheep Street, Nos 24 and 25 The Square, and Nos 2A, 2, and 4 The Spain.
