Description

Vine Cottage is a mid-18th century cottage located in Itchen Abbas. It is constructed of brick and features a thatched roof. The building is one and a half stories tall and has two bays, with a wing extending to the rear on the right side. The central entrance is a 20th-century door set beneath a tiled gabled hood, flanked by three-light segmental headed casement windows on either side. There are also two small 18th-century casement windows located on the wallplate in eyebrow dormers, with a tiny window above the door. The roof is half-hipped and includes a decorated ridge piece and a central chimney stack.
