Description
Itchen Abbas Manor is a house built in the mid-18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. The front wall is made of brick with blue headers, while the side walls and rear service range are constructed from flint and brick, topped with an old plain tile roof. The front of the house is two storeys high and features three bays. A 19th-century gabled brick porch leads to a six-panelled door, with the bottom two panels flush against a semi-circular fanlight. On either side of the porch are tall 12-pane sash windows from the 18th century, which have flush frames and segmental heads. Above these, there are three smaller sash windows that are similar in style, topped with a toothed cornice. The hipped roof includes two hipped dormers with two leaded lights each. There are symmetrical stacks on the return ridges. To the right side, there is a 19th-century addition featuring a round bay with leaded casements and a flat lead roof, which has hipped roofs behind it.
