Description

The building is a set of kennels located approximately 10 meters northeast of the stables at Swythamley Park, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed stone and features a slate roof and cast iron railings. The single-storey range contains three kennels, each with a boarded door, and a dovecote is inserted at the right end. There are three runs, each with a stone plinth that is 1 meter high and square piers at the corners. The entrances are marked by cast iron columns topped with ball finials, and there are round arches in plain close-studded railings above, with the railings extending to approximately 2 meters high.
