Description
Bearda Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century, with alterations and additions made in the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed stone and features stone slate roofs, with an end stack to the left and a side stack to the right. The building has a 'T'-shaped plan, consisting of a 17th-century cross wing and a 19th-century addition. The front of the farmhouse is divided into two parts and is two storeys high. The gable on the right has a corniced attic light in the apex above a range of small-pane windows, which were originally fully mullioned and possibly had five lights, though only one remains. The entrance is located on the left side, while the early 19th-century wing to the left has a single range of 20-pane glazing bar sash windows.
