Description
Buxton Brow Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse with later alterations. It is built of coursed stone and features a stone-slated roof with verge parapets and brick stacks at the left end and over the entrance. The farmhouse has a former lobby-entrance plan and is two stories high with a three-window front. The windows are two-light stone chamfered mullioned casements, with the ones on the first floor being smaller. The left and center ranges originally had four-light mullioned windows. There is a 20th-century gabled porch with a panelled door located at the right-hand end. Additionally, there is a blind arch recess at the right-hand end of the rear elevation.
