Description

Number 1 Brook Cottages is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of coursed stone with block dressings and features a blue machine tile roof. The building has a verge parapet and a stone ridge stack that is centrally placed for symmetry on the front. The house is two stories high and has a two-window front, with two-light block mullioned casements. The entrance is located to the right and has a 20th-century door. There is a lower wing to the right of the main structure.
