Description
The Knowles Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed of rough-faced coursed stone with block dressings and a blue tile roof featuring verge parapets. It has end stacks made of stone and a 'T'-shaped plan, with a lower wing now serving as the entrance located centrally at the rear. The front of the building is three storeys high and has a three-window arrangement, consisting of 2-1-2-light block mullioned casements that decrease in size on each upper storey. The central entrance has a moulded surround with rounded inner angles, a cornice, and a boarded door that includes a small centre light.
