Description
Ughill Manor is a farmhouse dating from the early 18th century, with later additions. It is constructed from gritstone ashlar and features a Welsh slate roof. The building has two storeys and five bays. There is a plinth course and large projecting quoins. The central entrance consists of a board door set within an architrave that has consoles, a cornice, and a scrolled pediment. There is an additional board door in bay five, framed by a square-faced surround. Casement windows with stone architraves are present in bays one, two, and four, along with a band at the first floor. The first floor has five similar casements and architraves, with the central window being smaller. The right side features moulded kneelers and gable copings. A central ashlar ridge stack is present but truncated. To the left, under the same roof, are two extensions, each with quoins, a doorway, and a window on each floor, as well as corniced ashlar end stacks. The ground floor doorway of the right-hand extension is blocked, and the window to its right has been altered. The left gable also has kneelers and gable copings. Attached to the right are 19th-century farm buildings, which are not of special interest.
