Description
South Farm House is a farmhouse dating from the mid-18th century, with later additions. It is constructed from deeply-coursed squared sandstone and features a renewed pantile and Welsh slate roof. The building has two storeys and two windows on the first floor. There is a later addition on the left side and an attached barn at the rear, which are not of special interest. The farmhouse has a plinth and a part-glazed door on the left in a bonded ashlar surround, with a similar central door also in an ashlar surround. To the right of each door, there is a tall, three-light, square-faced mullioned window with renewed casements that include glazing bars. The first floor has two similar windows. The right side has shaped kneelers and gable copings. There is a brick stack at the end on the right and a matching ridge stack to the left of the center.
