Description

Plainsteads Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse constructed from coursed squared gritstone, topped with a stone slate roof featuring one brick and one stone gable end stack. The building is two storeys high, with later single storey outbuildings to the east that extend around the south side. The west gable end has one 2-light and one 3-light stone mullion window, both with square sectioned mullions. The south elevation features a 4-light mullion window on both the ground and first floors, while the north elevation has similar 3-light windows.
