Description

This tombstone, dating from 1671, is located at the Friends Burial Ground, four metres north of Chestnut Farmhouse in Chapel-en-le-Frith. It is made of gritstone and features a shoulded top, standing approximately 3 feet high. The inscription reads 'I R SONNE T R BURIED 17.8. MONTH 1671'.
