Description
Garden House is a house dating from the early 19th century, constructed from coursed gritstone rubble with quoins and gritstone dressings. It features a modern tile roof with stone ridge and has stone gable end and ridge stacks. The building is two storeys high with a three-bay front.
On the east elevation, there is a semi-circular headed doorcase with a quoin surround, leading to a raised and fielded six-panelled door, with a plain fanlight above. Flanking the door are glazing bar sash windows. To the north, there is a large inserted 20th-century small pane window, and above it, four glazing bar sashes. The rear elevation includes 20th-century mullioned windows. This building is included for its group value.
