Description
Malcoff Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse that was refronted in the mid-19th century and has undergone some alterations in the 20th century. The building is constructed of coursed gritstone with quoins and gritstone dressings, topped with a stone slate roof. It features stone gable end and ridge stacks. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has three bays.
The central entrance has a flush doorcase with a panelled door, flanked by 20th-century top-hung casement windows, with two similar windows above. To the north, there is a single-storey outshut that includes a 3-light flush mullion window. There is also a flush doorcase on the south side. At the rear, a 3-light flush mullion window with leaded lights is present, along with a 19th-century plain sash window and the remains of an 18th-century window, which has a 20th-century window inserted above it.
