Description
Chestnut Farmhouse is a mid-19th century farmhouse constructed from coursed squared gritstone with gritstone dressings and a stone slate roof. It features stone gable end stacks and is two storeys tall with a double front. The south elevation has two steps leading up to a central doorcase that has plain jambs and imposts. The door is beaded panelled with the top two panels glazed. On either side of the door, there are single glazing bar sash windows with large lintels and projecting sills. There are two similar windows above. This building is included for its group value.
