Description

Bowden Hall Cottage is an early 19th-century cottage located in Chapel-en-le-Frith. It is constructed from coursed gritstone rubble with quoins and features flush gritstone dressings. The roof is made of stone slate, and there are rock-faced gable end stone stacks. The cottage is two storeys high and has two bays.

On the west elevation, there is an off-centre doorcase with a flush lintel and jambs, leading to a plank door. To the north of the door, there is a two-light flush mullion window with arched leaded lights, and a similar, larger window is located to the south. Above these, there are two similar windows. The cottage is included for its group value.
