Description
This is an unidentified chest tomb from the 17th century, located about 7 metres north-east of the Lady Chapel at the Church of St Andrew and St Mary in Pitminster Village. It is made of Ham stone and features a ledger top with a steeply chamfered cornice. The north and south faces are inscribed, but the name is not legible. The top of the tomb is damaged, and it has sunk, leaning towards the west. This tomb is part of a notable group of chest tombs in the churchyard.
