Description

This is a milestone located north of the entrance to Haddon Barn, dating from the early 19th century. It has a triangular section with a sloping top. The east side is inscribed with "to BAKEWELL 2 M / BUXTON 14 M" and "To MATLOCK 8 M / DERBY 24 M." The top of the milestone is inscribed with "LONDON / 150 / Miles."
