Description
The gazebo at Holme Hall is a mid-18th century structure featuring an ashlar sandstone facade, with the rest made of coursed limestone and a concrete roof. It is a single cell built into a bank, with a prospect terrace located behind a roof balustrade.
The exterior includes a tall round arch that is flanked by semi-domed niches, which are positioned above oval niches that once held statues (now relocated to Holme Hall for safekeeping). There is a moulded cornice topped with an incomplete balustrade, featuring turned balusters and corniced end dies with ball finials. Each return of the gazebo has a solid ashlar parapet.
There are no notable interior features. The gazebo is now situated in woodland at the top of a flight of steps that leads from an archway in the terrace walls to the east of Holme Hall.
