Entrance walls and gate piers. Probably mid C18. Coursed limestone with dressed sandstone copings; ashlar sandstone gate piers. Curved walls flank the entrance to Holme Grange (qv). Square-sectioned main gate piers of coursed ashlar with bands below upswept pedestals to ball finials. To each side, in front of the main gate, are carriage gateways having similar piers with domed caps. Beyond the main gate piers the walls curve round to each side and are pierced by gate openings adjacent to Holme Grange and The Mews Cottage.
