Description
The entrance walls and gate piers to Holme Grange, likely built in the mid-18th century, are constructed from coursed limestone with dressed sandstone copings and ashlar sandstone gate piers. The curved walls flank the entrance to Holme Grange. The main gate piers are square in section, made of coursed ashlar, and feature bands below upswept pedestals that support ball finials. On either side of the main gate, there are carriage gateways with similar piers topped with domed caps. The walls curve around to each side and include gate openings next to Holme Grange and The Mews Cottage.
