Description
This is a range of farm buildings located approximately 15 metres west of Lockton Farmhouse, built in 1849 as indicated by a datestone. The buildings are constructed from sandstone ashlar with a pantile roof. The layout includes a byre on the left, a stable in the centre, and a cartshed with a granary above on the right. The structure is two storeys high and features three openings on the first floor. There are three stable doors, each with massive stone lintels, and the third door is inscribed with the initials J D. The cartshed has an elliptical arch, while the first floor includes two fixed windows from 1849 and one board pitching door. The gable has coping and shaped kneelers on the right. This range of buildings is included for its group value.
