Description
Laverock Hall South is a house dating from the second half of the 18th century. It is constructed of hammered coursed sandstone and features a pantile roof with stone stacks. The building has a 3-cell hearth-passage plan and stands two storeys high, with four windows on the first floor. The entrance includes a 20th-century half-glazed door, with one three-light Yorkshire sash window to the left and two to the right. On the first floor, there are two-light Yorkshire sash windows. The roof is swept, with gable coping and shaped kneelers, and it has end stacks as well as a ridge stack.
