Description
This is a range of farm buildings located approximately 20 metres south of Horn End House, dating from the early 19th century. The buildings are constructed from tooled sandstone and feature a pantile roof. The layout is L-shaped, comprising a two-storey, six-bay range with a single-storey, two-bay projecting wing on the left. The long range has board stable doors and square pitching holes for the loft floor, along with tooled heavy lintels above the doors. The gables are coped, and there are plain kneelers. In the left wing, there is a rectangular opening beneath a long timber lintel, with a board stable door to the right. Inside the wing, part of the framing for a fixed horse engine is still visible. This building is included for its group value.
