Description
Sportsman's Hall is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble that has been brought to course, with the front rendered in stucco and a roof made of Westmorland slate. The building features a central entry and has a 10-bay cross wing at the rear. It stands two storeys high and has three bays on the front. The structure is characterized by massive quoins and a half-glazed door. Throughout the building, there are casement windows with keystones above them. The gable has coping, shaped kneelers, and end stacks. The rear wing consists of three bays that serve as part of the accommodation, while seven bays are used for agricultural purposes.
