Description

Ocean View, consisting of Nos 1, 2, and 3, is a house that forms part of an early to mid 18th century terrace, now divided into three dwellings. The walls are cement rendered over stone, and the roof is covered with pantiles, featuring a stone ridge, copings, and kneelers, along with brick stacks.

The main section has three storeys and an attic, with two bays that create two houses. On the left side of each house, there is a six-panel door, with a four-pane late 19th century sash window to the right. Above, each floor has two similar but longer windows with stack cills. The eaves have a coved course, and there are three dormers: the central one is a Victorian gabled dormer with bargeboards, flanked by flat-headed 20th century dormers. The large curved kneelers and the chimneys have been rebuilt.

The left part of the building has two low storeys and two bays. The right side features a six-panel door with paired small late 19th century sash windows above. The left side has a louvered opening below a blank first floor. The rear elevation includes a half-glazed four-panel door and a small-paned casement window above, with the rest of the elevation being blank.
