Description
No 1 Albion Street is a house, likely built in the early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed herringbone-tooled sandstone and features a pantiled roof with stone ridge, copings, kneelers, and stacks. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a single bay. There are steps leading up to a four-panel door on the left, although the hood above it has been removed. To the right of the door, there is a boat or garage door, and a 20th-century casement window. The house also has a large modern dormer with felt cheeks. The end chimneys are cornice-banded. The right side of the building displays an unglazed, part-boarded blacksmith's window below and a 12-pane sash window above. This house is included for its group value.
