Description
Traycliffe is an 18th-century house, likely raised in the mid-19th century. The lower part of the building features roughly-coursed herringbone-tooled sandstone, while the right return has tooled-and-margined stonework on the upper storey. The roof is pantiled and includes a brick chimney. The house is two storeys tall with a basement and has two windows. The 19th-century windows are four-pane sashes, except for a plain sash located at the ground floor on the right. There is a chimney at the right end, and the right return is mostly blank, featuring only a small sash window in the loft. The entrance is located at the rear and consists of a 20th-century door within a modern porch. A rear lean-to and the upper storey are constructed of 19th-century stonework.
