Description

The building is a studio designed by Sir Basil Spence in 1961 for his own use. It features vertical cedar boarding and is a single storey structure, with one section having a monopitched roof at an irregular angle and another section topped with a conical roof, with a door located between the two. The internal timber roof structure is visible, and the studio is an integral and important part of the Spence House ensemble.
