Description

This is a brick garden wall dating to the 18th century. A 20-metre section of the wall runs parallel to the stableblock and alongside the road; the remainder has been rebuilt, incorporating a cottage. The wall then extends east to south for 70 metres, with a 15-metre return wall at the other end. Standing 3 metres high, the wall features brick coping and small pilasters set at 15-metre intervals. A garage has been inserted near the road corner, and an archway is present on the far return wall. The wall represents remnants of a more extensive kitchen garden enclosure.
