Description

Plantation Cottage is an early 19th-century cottage constructed of brick, featuring some blue bricks, and topped with a plain tile roof. The building has three bays and is a single storey with an attic. The front of the cottage includes a central gabled porch adorned with bargeboards and a pointed timber archway. Each side bay contains two Gothic sash windows, which are framed by painted brick rusticated quoins and raised pointed arches. The roof is punctuated by three gabled dormers, also with bargeboards. A stack with a toothed offset head is located at the right-hand end of the cottage.
