Description
The farmhouse dates from the 18th century, with extensions added in the 19th century. It is constructed of brick with a thatched roof, and a slate roof to the rear. The main block is two storeys high and originally two bays wide, with a further bay added to one side, and a later wing at the rear of the central bay. The front has a hipped-roof brick porch with an arched opening between the original bays. Each original bay contains two-light casement windows on both floors, with the ground floor windows set under a cambered head. The added bay to the right has similar windows, with two on the ground floor. A pilaster is present at the left-hand end of this added bay. The farmhouse has end stacks, and a ridge stack on the rear wing.
