Description

Newtown Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse that has been altered in the 18th century and extended in the 20th century. It features a timber frame with pebbledashed infill. The building is 1½ storeys high and has two bays, with additional structures at the far end. On the road-facing side, there is a two-light casement window with shutters in the end bay and two similar windows in the larger far bay, along with a two-light eyebrow dormer above. The opposite side has a three-light casement window with a shutter in the road bay and a hip-roofed porch on the other side. The roof is half-hipped and there are ridge stacks present.
