Description
Blunts Barn Cottage is a cottage built between 1905 and 1906 by H Sumner. It is constructed of brick and has a pebbledashed thatch roof. The cottage is two stories high and features three bays, with a projecting cross-wing that extends to the rear. The front of the cottage has the cross-wing on the right-hand side. In the center bay, there is a thatch hood supported by posts over a plank door. On either side of the door, there are pairs of two-light casements with tile drip-moulds above them. The cross-wing also has a similar two-light casement. On the first floor, there are additional two-light casements. The roof is half-hipped, and there are ridge stacks located on either side of the central bay.
