Description
Gorley Cross House is an early 18th-century brick house with a thatched roof. It is two storeys high and has five bays, with a wing at the rear on one end. The front features a top-lit six-panel door on the right-hand side of the centre bay, which is sheltered by a flat hood supported by cut brackets. To the right of the door is a tripartite sash window with a segmental head, while to the left are three 12-pane flush-frame sashes. There is a raised band on the first floor to the left of the door. The first floor has five 12-pane sashes with segmental heads, and the window above the door is blind. The roof is hipped, with a stack above the door and another stack on the rear wing behind the right-hand bay.
