Description
The Royal Oak Public House is a building that dates from the 18th and 19th centuries, with later enlargements in the 20th century. It is constructed of rendered brick and cob, topped with a thatched roof. The older section of the building is two storeys high and has two bays, while there is a single-storey, three-bay wing at one end. The front features the older part on the left-hand side. The roof has a central swept-down design and includes weatherboarded porches for both sections. The windows consist of four-pane sashes, with larger sashes found in the later part of the building. There are chimney stacks at each end of the left-hand section, and the roof is hipped on the right-hand side.
