Description

Rockford Green Cottage is a small house dating from the mid-18th century, with alterations and a replacement roof from the 19th century. The house is constructed of brick and has a slate roof. It is two storeys high and has three bays. The front of the house features a central four-panel door set within a gabled brick porch. Above the door is an 18th-century round window with vertical glazing bars. To either side of the door are three-light segmental-head casement windows on both the ground and first floors. Low-pitched gabled dormers are positioned above the first-floor windows. Brick stacks are located slightly forward of the ridge.
