Description

This is a late 18th-century farmhouse, subsequently altered in the 19th century. It is constructed of brick, with an old plain tile roof. The building is two storeys high and originally comprised three bays, with a further bay added to the left. The front elevation features an added bay on the left-hand side. A central, gabled porch with half-glazed panels was added in the 20th century. On each side of the original bay are two-light cast-iron casement windows, each set beneath a rubbed brick arch. The left-hand bay also has a similar two-light casement window. Above the ground-floor casement on the first floor is a single casement window, while the other first-floor windows are two-light casements. The building has a raised, toothed cornice. Brick stacks are located at each end of the original building and at the left-hand end.
