Description

The property is a farmhouse, now a house, dating back to the 17th century. Visible on a tablet is “17A11RE,” referencing the date of alteration or construction. The farmhouse was altered again in the 19th century. It is constructed of brick and has a thatched roof, originally with a 3-bay arrangement and a smoke bay.

The front features a smoke bay to the left of centre, with a 19th-century hipped brick porch in front of the doorway. A plank door is set within this porch. Each bay has a 19th-century two-light cast iron casement window, each set under a brick arch. A raised band of brick sits on brick corbels on the first floor. Between the centre and right-hand bays is a tablet. Above each bay sits a two-light eyebrow dormer. The roof is half-hipped. A stack is located above the smoke bay.
