Description

Poulner Baptist Church is a chapel built in 1840, as indicated by a tablet on the building. It has been altered and extended in the 20th century. The church is constructed from rendered cob and features a thatched roof, with a brick and pantile addition. The structure has three bays, with the entrance located at one end and an added lower bay at the opposite end. The road-facing side has two-light casements on either side of the center, which also features an approximately central tablet. There are five sloping buttresses supporting the building, and the roof is half-hipped. At the left-hand end, there is a 20th-century thatched hood supported by posts, with a round window situated above it.
